Yes. Winter offers consistent swell, clean waves and fewer crowds. Algarve often has sunny days and mild conditions even in December and January.

No. Water stays around 15–18°C in Algarve and 13–16°C in Porto. With a 4/3mm wetsuit, most surfers feel comfortable.

Absolutely. We work with complete beginners all year. In winter we choose sheltered beaches with the safest and most appropriate waves.

Yes. We offer private coaching focused on technique, positioning, reading the ocean and progression.

Surfboard, wetsuit, lycra, insurance and transport from selected pick-up points (Algarve only). Porto lessons meet at Matosinhos Beach.

We check forecasts daily. If conditions are unsafe, we change beach, adjust the time or reschedule , or refund without extra cost.

Yes. Winter has reduced seasonal prices and occasional promo codes (e.g. XMAS25), depending on availability. Only for Lagos Group lessons

Yes, as long as children meet the minimum age and swimming requirements and conditions are appropriate for their level.

We run winter lessons daily, subject to weather and wave conditions. Booking in advance is recommended.
